International hotspot for smart mobility
Automotive hotspot in the Brainport region
Automotive Campus Helmond is located in the Brainport Region and is the national and international hotspot and meeting place for Automotive companies. But also for companies working in other topics of mobility technology, such as Green and Smart Mobility.
Every day, more than 1250 people, including some 600 students, work on the mobility solutions of the future. They do this within leading companies, knowledge institutes, innovative startups and educational institutions.
The Automotive Campus is easily accessible by public transport. The Helmond railway station is a 15-minute walk away. A regular bus goes to the campus every half hour. The Automotive Campus is also accessible via the A67 from Venlo or the A270 from Eindhoven.
Brainport region
The Automotive Campus is located in the Brainport Region Eindhoven. This is an innovation ecosystem in Southeast Brabant with a strong emphasis on the high-tech and manufacturing industry. The Brainport region consists of 21 municipalities. Every day, companies, educational and knowledge institutions, and governments work together within this ecosystem. This creates chain cooperation, open innovation and alliances. Brainport Foundation and the economic development company Brainport Development strengthen and support these collaborations.
Innovation and knowledge sharing
Collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the heart of the Automotive Campus. Collaborations enable ideas to be converted faster into the technologies of the future.
The Automotive Campus is also an interesting place for students. In the field of education, the campus is unique, as no other campus in the Netherlands offers education at many levels in addition to world players and a state-of-the-art test environment. The Automotive Campus is also home to more than 150 different trainings and courses from Innovam. Thus, the campus also contributes to the principle of lifelong learning.
