The Kopgebouw provides a link between companies and students. The fourth and fifth floors will start housing the Dordrecht Academy in May. The remaining floors have spaces to accommodate companies that fit the campus profile of the Smart Campus Leerpark and have a link to technology and innovation. This combination makes the Kopgebouw a place where education and business find and strengthen each other.

The Kopgebouw has a central atrium and a direct connection to the Duurzaamheidsfabriek on the fourth floor via a walkway. The ground floor and first three floors of the building are available for innovative companies and startups in the field of sustainability, energy, new manufacturing and innovative maritime solutions. The atrium provides space for lunch, flex-working, meetings and celebrating successes. Furthermore, conference facilities are available on the ground floor.

Through the Kopgebouw, tenants gain access to the growing Kadans community, regionally, nationally and internationally. Through network events, Kadans’ online platform, and channels such as podcasts and webinars, among others, Kadans is strengthening its innovation ecosystem.
