Watson & Crick Hill heeft een duidelijke mening over wat een science park moet zijn. Het park bestaat uit ongeveer 11 hectare en is maakt onderdeel uit van het Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park, het grootste science park in Wallonië. Op het moment biedt het park al ruimte voor 30.000 m2 VVO aan kantoor- en labruimte, verdeeld over zes gebouwen. Er is nog een plek voor 20.000 m2 VVO, wat ook de groei die het park voor ogen heeft in de toekomst laat zien. Op het moment is het park de thuishaven van 27 organisaties.

Sandrine de Wouters joined Kadans as Senior Asset Manager. Prior, she has been working in the Real Estate and Banking industry for more than 15 years. Sandrine worked at ING Bank as Corporate Lending Advisor and at Cofinimmo (the foremost Belgian listed property company) where she gained extensive experience in Transaction & Asset management and Business development of (healthcare) real estate. In her role at Kadans, she is the point of contact of the tenants and stakeholders in Belgium. Her mission is to optimize, expand, and drive value of the real estate portfolio. Sandrine holds a diploma of Economics (Master’s degree) of the University of Namur, Belgium.

Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park

Het Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park beslaat 231 hectaren. Het park is verdeeld in vier zones: Einstein, Fleming, Athena en Monet, en biedt ruimte voor organisaties actief binnen sectoren zoals Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemie, Groene Technologie en Informatie- en Communicatietechnologie. Het park stimuleert samenwerkingen tussen universiteiten en andere organisaties, en is beheert door UCLouvain en In BW. Zo is er een actief ecosysteem van kennisintensieve organisaties op de campus.
